McKinney Independent School District's Executive Director of Elementary School Leadership Molly Hovan | McKinney Independent School District
The McKinney Independent School District (MISD) has announced the promotion of Molly Hovan to the position of Executive Director of Elementary School Leadership. Previously, Hovan held the role of Senior Director of Teaching and Learning.
The district made public Hovan's advancement during its April Board of Trustees meeting, as stated on MISD’s website.
In her new capacity, Hovan will provide support, guidance, and serve as a resource for the district’s elementary principals, according to the announcement.
MISD mentioned in its statement that it has a "long-standing reputation for educational excellence," frequently receiving recognition at both state and national levels. The district attributes its success to the leadership of its elected Board of Trustees, teachers, and the ongoing support from parents and the community.
As per information available on the MISD website, the district encompasses 20 elementary schools, five middle schools, three high schools, two alternative campuses, and one early childhood education center. Collectively, these institutions cater to nearly 25,000 students.
