The Collin County District Clerk’s Passport Office has announced a new initiative, “Walk-Up Wednesdays,” set to commence on June 4, 2025. This service allows passport applicants to visit without prior appointments every Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The program is intended to offer flexibility for residents of Collin County and nearby areas who need to apply for passports. Services available include first-time applications, renewals for minors aged 16 and under, and renewals for passports expired longer than five years.

It is important to note that no appointments will be accepted on Wednesdays. Those preferring scheduled visits can still book appointments through the Collin County District Clerk’s website for other days.

All services are conducted at the Collin County District Clerk’s Office in the Collin County Courts Building located at 2100 Bloomdale Rd, McKinney, TX 75071.

For further details or appointment scheduling outside of Wednesdays, individuals can visit the website at https://www.collincountytx.gov/District-Clerk.
