Four baseball teams from Frisco Independent School District (FISD) are advancing to the second round of the playoffs. Each team will participate in a best-of-three series scheduled for this week.

The FISD teams are competing in different divisions: Emerson and Reedy in 5A Division I, Wakeland in 5A Division II, and Panther Creek in 4A Division I. All games will take place between Thursday, May 8, and Saturday, May 10.

Reedy is set to face Melissa with Game 1 on Thursday at McKinney Boyd High School at 7 p.m., followed by Game 2 on Friday at the same location. If necessary, Game 3 will be held on Saturday at John Paul II High School.

Emerson will compete against McKinney North starting with Game 1 on Thursday at McKinney North High School at 7:30 p.m. The second game is scheduled for Friday at Emerson High School. A potential third game would occur on Saturday at McKinney Boyd.

Wakeland’s opponent is Whitehouse, with all games taking place at North Forney High School. The first two games are set for Thursday and Friday evenings, both starting at 7:30 p.m., with a possible third game on Saturday afternoon.

Panther Creek will play against Alvarado beginning with an away game on Thursday evening. The series continues with a home game on Friday night and could extend to a third game on Saturday at Irving Nimitz if needed.
