Frisco Independent School District (ISD) has expressed gratitude to the over 15,000 volunteers who participated in the 2024-25 school year. As preparations begin for the 2025-26 academic year, individuals interested in volunteering are encouraged to complete their background checks before the start of classes.
The district employs VOLY, a volunteer management system, to post opportunities and recruit volunteers. Those wishing to volunteer must create a VOLY account and undergo a background check. The platform enables users to sign up for specific campus or district-based activities and track their volunteer hours.
Frisco ISD’s Community Relations team works to connect businesses with schools. Information on how organizations can donate time is available on the Partnership Programs webpage.
The FISD Business Incubator Program offers students at Centennial, Emerson, Frisco, Heritage, and Lone Star high schools an entrepreneurship experience that blends business content with real-world applications. Support from businesses and individuals is welcome.
The Independent Study and Mentorship (ISM) program allows students to explore topics of interest with mentor guidance. Businesses and individuals are invited to contribute as volunteers.
FISD Achieve Mentoring connects community members with students to provide support and inspire success. The program focuses on empowering at-risk students through mentorship.
Additionally, Frisco ISD welcomes speakers for its Speaker’s Bureau initiative, encouraging experts to engage with students on various subjects.
For those interested in volunteering or seeking more information, contact the Frisco ISD Community Relations Department at volunteer@friscoisd.org or call 469-633-6860. Details about serving on a district committee will be available soon, with applications opening on August 1.
