Rep. Keith Self, a U.S. Congressman who secured re-election in both 2022 and 2024, used his social media platform on September 4, 2025, to comment on energy policy, political disagreements within the Senate, and the anniversary of the House Freedom Caucus.

At 19:02 UTC on the same day, Rep. Self marked an organizational milestone with praise for Steve Bannon and members of the House Freedom Caucus: “Steve Bannon, a true patriot, rallying a room of unyielding warriors fighting to save our nation. Can’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the House Freedom Caucus. MAGA! https://t.co/EwtRZcK4Ln”.

Keith Self has represented his district through two consecutive election cycles; in 2022 he defeated Sandeep Srivastava with approximately 60.5% of the vote to Srivastava’s 36.9%, and again in 2024 by securing about 62.5% compared to Srivastava’s 37.6%.
