Keresa Richardson, a Republican elected to the Texas State House in 2025 representing the 61st district, has recently shared updates on her activities and achievements through her social media account.

On November 7, 2025, Richardson highlighted her attendance at a local event by posting: “The City of McKinney’s “State of the City” event was a packed house! Excellent speakers and information from: Mayor Bill Cox Dr. Neil Matkin, Collin College President Dr. Shawn Pratt, MISD Superintendent Jennifer Arnold, Assistant City Manager Chamber President Lisa Hermes”.

The following day, on November 8, she announced her plans for re-election with details about the filing event: “WHAT: Rep. KERESA Richardson Files for Re-Election WHERE: Collin County GOP Headquarters 2963 W 15th St, Plano, TX 75075 WHEN: Wednesday at 3:00 PM Photo op + filing THEN: Ice cream social at Henry’s Homemade Ice Cream! Bring signs, flags, and energy! Let’s send a message that”.

On November 9, Richardson shared news of receiving an award at a statewide gala: “I am thrilled to have been presented with the Faith & Family Champion Award at the Texas Values Gala last night! @TxValuesAction”.

Richardson succeeded Frederick Frazier as representative for Texas’s 61st House district after being elected in 2025.
