On Friday, May 16, former Liberty High School standout Wes Weaks’ current collegiate team the Buena Vista Beavers won 3-23 against the CMS Stags in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Copeland Park at 2:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the CMS Stags in the tournament.

The Buena Vista Beavers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Copeland Park.
