Rep. Keith Self, a U.S. Congressman who secured reelection in 2024 and 2022 against Sandeep Srivastava, posted several statements on October 8, 2025, criticizing Democratic policies and their impact on healthcare and veterans.

In a post at 14:25 UTC, Rep. Self wrote: “The Democrats promised Obamacare would expand health coverage and reduce costs.

The reality? Healthcare spending in America has risen significantly since its implementation and is the primary driver of the growth of national debt.

Obamacare has been a massive failure.”

Later that day at 15:14 UTC, he added: “Democrats are using America’s veterans as pawns in their dangerous political game.”

A third post at 16:29 UTC contained only a link: “https://t.co/WqelBQFyKk”.

Rep. Keith Self won his seat by defeating Sandeep Srivastava in both the 2024 general election with 62.5% of the vote and the 2022 general election with 60.5% of the vote.
