Rep. Keith Self, a U.S. Congressman who secured reelection in both 2022 and 2024 against Sandeep Srivastava, has recently used his social media platform to criticize the healthcare industry and government policies related to insurance companies and public spending.

On November 12, 2025, Rep. Self posted on X: “For years, greedy insurance giants have pocketed massive profits—bankrolled by hardworking American taxpayers—while healthcare worsens, with soaring premiums and crushing deductibles. The Obamacare money-laundering scheme must be dismantled.”

Later that same day, he continued his critique of the political establishment: “This is what the elites in our country really think of everyday Americans—all while seizing your hard-earned money to enrich their friends in the healthcare industrial complex (aka their donors) and, ultimately, themselves.”

On November 13, 2025, Rep. Self addressed recent government actions: “Democrats triggered the longest government shutdown in American history, all to push free healthcare for illegal aliens and taxpayer-funded giveaways to insurance companies. I’m proud to have voted to reopen the government, ensuring our military, air traffic controllers, Border”

Rep. Keith Self represents Texas’s 3rd congressional district and has maintained electoral success over multiple cycles. In 2024 he won re-election with 62.5% of the vote against Sandeep Srivastava; in 2022 he also prevailed with over 60% of votes cast.
