Rep. Keith Self, a U.S. Congressman who secured reelection in both 2022 and 2024 by defeating Sandeep Srivastava, took to social media on November 13, 2025, to comment on recent government actions and legislative developments.

In a post published at 13:10 UTC, Self wrote: ” GOVERNMENT REOPENED — ZERO free healthcare for illegal aliens. ZERO taxpayer bailouts for greedy insurance giants. A MASSIVE WIN for America. Thank you, @realDonaldTrump.”

Later that day, at 16:00 UTC, he criticized certain legislative practices in the Senate: “It’s outrageous that senators would slip in a provision to enrich themselves—behavior that surpasses the corruption of insider trading. Politicians must be held to the same standards as every American, not granted special privileges. No American should face unwarranted”

At 19:08 UTC on the same day, Self addressed opposition party tactics during recent negotiations: “The Democrats attempted to extort us—they ended up exposing themselves and their failed programs instead. If they truly cared about the American people, they’d learn from this mistake and not try it again.”

Self’s comments follow his electoral victories over Sandeep Srivastava in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections; he won with approximately 60% of the vote in each contest.
