Representative Keith Self, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently made several statements on his official Twitter account addressing topics related to constitutional rights, religious law, and government spending.

On September 5, 2025, Rep. Self posted: “Our rights come from God, not the government. No one can rewrite that truth.”

Later that day, he expressed concerns about religious law in the United States, writing: “This should set off alarm bells all across America. Sharia must be stopped from permeating our communities, legal system, and government.” (September 5, 2025).

In another post published on September 5, 2025, Rep. Self thanked a federal official for fiscal oversight: “Thankful to @SecKennedy for protecting Americans’ hard-earned taxpayer dollars from going to ridiculous woke research projects. Under his leadership, @HHSGov is prioritizing science over political agendas and defending the American taxpayer. MAHA! “

Rep. Keith Self has held his congressional seat through multiple election cycles. In both the 2022 and 2024 general elections, he defeated Sandeep Srivastava with more than sixty percent of the vote.
