On November 6, 2025, Paxton addressed federal employees and SNAP recipients affected by the ongoing government shutdown. She wrote: “If you are a federal employee or a neighbor whose SNAP benefits are frozen due to the government shutdown, Seven Loaves is hosting a drive-thru food distribution on Friday, Nov 7 from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Later that day, she marked National Adoption Month with a personal message reflecting on her own experience as an adopted child. On November 6, 2025, she posted: “November is #NationalAdoptionMonth!
