Wrap up the last days of summer with a new pet during the 9th Annual Clear the Shelters event! The event runs the entire month of August.
- Get half-price adoption fees Tuesday, August 1 through Monday, August 21
- Get waived adoption fees Tuesday, August 22 through Sunday, August 27
Come prepared to adopt by bringing:
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- $10 to register your pet with the City of Plano (if you live here)
- A copy of your lease agreement or a letter from your landlord showing animals are allowed and listing any prohibited breeds.
- Make sure current pets have up-to-date vaccinations, so everyone remains healthy
- Evaluate and repair your fence to prevent accidental escapes
- Research information about introducing a new pet into your household
