Cheapest diesel in cities across Collin County in week ending July 29

There was one gas station in cities across Collin County selling diesel at the lowest price of $3.43 per gallon in the week ending July 29, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of diesel in cities within Collin County was $3.65 per gallon.

There are 101 gas stations in cities within Collin County.

The average price of diesel in Texas was $3.58.

The U.S. government missed the mark when forecasting gas prices for 2022. A short-term outlook published early in 2022 claimed gas rates would fall, when in fact gas rates rose significantly.

The outlook once again suggested that prices would fall in 2023.
