There were 3,349 students enrolled in Community ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 21.5% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.7% of them were boys, and 48.3% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Community ISD students was white, accounting for 45.3% of the student population.

Community ISD roughly covers schools within Collin County with its main office in Nevada.

Among the six schools in Community ISD, McClendon Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,042 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
