Lovejoy ISD schools Education: 2,996 white students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 2,996 white students enrolled in Lovejoy ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 4.3% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Lovejoy ISD schools welcomed 4,254 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 70.4% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Lovejoy ISD roughly covers schools within Collin County and has a main office in Allen.

Among the six schools in Lovejoy ISD schools, Lovejoy High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 1,146 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
