On November 21, 2024, Rep. Self criticized the International Criminal Court (ICC) for its stance towards Israel while not holding terrorist organizations accountable. He stated that "The illegitimate ICC continues to condemn Israel while failing to hold terrorist organizations accountable for their barbaric actions." Furthermore, he urged Congress to sanction the ICC if they proceed with issuing arrest warrants for Israeli figures Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant.
Later that day, Self commented on President Biden's actions during his final days in office. He remarked that "President Biden is spending his final days in office trying to hamstring the incoming Trump administration. It’s despicable."
On November 22, 2024, Rep. Self directed criticism towards MSNBC with a brief statement: "Disgusting @MSNBC. You don’t hate the mainstream media enough."
