The Collin County Board announced their 2023 Bond Program includes opportunities for non-profit organization and municipalities within the county to apply for a share of their Parks and Open Spaces funds.
The funding can be used for projects inside county lines that relate to land acquisition, creation or maintenance of trails, and park improvements.
Applications are on the county website, and can also be requested by contacting the Collin County Engineering Department at openspace@collincountytx.gov.
Completed applications must be submitted before 4 p.m. on Monday, July 8.
Applications will be reviewed by the Parks Foundation Advisory Board, who will make their recommendations to the Collin County Commissioners Court in October.
