73.2% of San Patricio County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 68,600 citizens living in San Patricio County in 2021, 73.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 50,243 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 25,239 were male, constituting 50.2%, and 25,004 were female, making up 49.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in San Patricio County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
