On March 27, Rep. Self praised the Director of the FBI, with the tweet, "Incredible work @FBIDirectorKash."
Later that day, he expressed his support for recent legislative action in the House, stating, "Today, House Republicans just passed the DETERRENT Act—a crucial step in stopping the CCP and other adversarial foreign influences in our universities and institutions. While my amendment for total transparency wasn’t ultimately included, I’m encouraged by the passage of this."
On March 28, Self turned his attention to the country's energy sector, writing, "Happy Friday, patriots. U.S. natural gas production is at an ALL-TIME HIGH. President Trump is UNLEASHING American energy! "
