On May 24, 2024, McKinney ISD held commencement exercises for approximately 1,800 seniors from McKinney Boyd High School, McKinney High School, and McKinney North High School at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen.

The ceremonies began early with Boyd staff and their 600 graduates arriving for a 9 a.m. ceremony. The graduates marched onto the arena floor in crimson regalia and received their diplomas.

At 1 p.m., over 600 McKinney High School graduates entered in deep blue robes accented by gold stoles. Family and friends filled the arena to witness the occasion.

The final ceremony of the day featured more than 500 graduates from McKinney North, who wore blue and orange regalia. They entered to "Pomp and Circumstance" as family and friends voiced their approval.
