There were two gas stations in cities across Collin County selling E15 gas at the lowest price of $2.94 per gallon in the week ending Sept. 7, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.

The average reported cost of E15 gas in cities within Collin County was $2.96 per gallon.

Of the 314 reported gas stations in cities within Collin County, three offer E15 gas.

The average reported price of E15 gas in Texas was $2.95, compared to $2.79 the week before.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.

The cost of rising gas prices is made tougher on average U.S. families by rising inflation. Families had to pay nearly 8% more for average goods and food they needed.
