The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees has adopted its 2024-25 District Improvement Plan, setting forth the priorities and goals for the upcoming school year.
The District Improvement Plan outlines the objectives and action plans to be implemented over the next year in response to the Board’s annually adopted priorities. The plan includes four primary goals with a focus on future readiness:
1. Learning Organization: Staff, students, and the FISD community will develop a shared understanding of the culture of excellence and unique experiences available to students.
2. Learning Organization: District and campus leaders will establish a systematic approach to ensure that the FISD student opportunity model evolves to meet the needs of the school community.
3. Differentiated Instruction & Assessment: District and campus leaders will create and refine support systems to enhance learning through differentiation and personalization.
4. Positive Culture: Staff, students, and the FISD community will consistently respect one another and hold each other accountable to foster positive learning environments.
This past spring, a comprehensive needs assessment was conducted by the District to identify areas for improvement aligned with the Future-Ready Framework. Campus leaders and stakeholders from the District Advisory Council participated in this process, leading to the development of the District Improvement Plan based on stakeholder priorities.
Next steps include reviewing and adopting Individual Campus Improvement Plans by October. Once adopted by the Board, both District and Campus Improvement Plans will be executed throughout the school year. The achievement of these goals will be measured by a local accountability system, with results detailed in the 2025 District Accountability Report.
