Frisco ISD is set to host an open house at the Career and Technical Education Center on Thursday, October 10. The event invites families to explore the facility, which has recently undergone an expansion to include new spaces for architecture, graphic design, and esports classes.

The center provides education in 10 career clusters and offers 25 programs of study. These include fields such as Information Technology, Architecture & Construction, Health Science, and Hospitality & Tourism. High school students attend classes at the CTE Center by being bused from their home campuses.

The open house is available to all Frisco ISD families. Elementary and middle school families are particularly encouraged to participate to learn about future educational opportunities within Frisco ISD. "We want to share with the younger students so they can begin thinking about their pathways early and are prepared when course requests are made," said Dianna Manuel, principal of the CTE Center. "We want them to ask questions and get excited."

Students who are currently enrolled in these pathways will be present to explain the programs and assist with activities during the event.

The open house will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Career and Technical Education Center located at 9889 Wade Blvd., Frisco TX 75035.
