Non-profit organizations and municipalities in Collin County can now apply for Parks & Open Space funds. This opportunity is made possible by the 2023 Collin County Bond Program, which provides funding for projects like land acquisition, trails, and park improvements.
Applications are available on the County website or by contacting the Collin County Engineering Department at openspace@collincountytx.gov. The deadline to submit applications is Monday, July 8, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. Central Time.
The Parks Foundation Advisory Board will review applications from July to September and will present funding recommendations to the Collin County Commissioners Court in October 2024.
