Rep. Keith Self, a U.S. Congress member representing Texas' 3rd District since 2023, recently shared his views on social media concerning various topics. Self, who succeeded Van Taylor and resides in McKinney, Texas, addressed issues ranging from border security to the political climate following President Trump's win.

On November 26, 2024, Rep. Keith Self expressed support for America's Border Czar by stating: "This is exactly the kind of energy needed from America’s Border Czar!"

The following day, on November 27, he encouraged readers to consider his op-ed in The American Mind during Thanksgiving. He wrote: "A Thanksgiving read to share! Read my op-ed @theammind: 'As you enjoy Thanksgiving, remember to give a little grace to those around you who are still grappling with President Trump’s win.'"

Later that day, Rep. Self commented on the potential expulsion of Tren de Aragua gang members by President Trump. He stated: "Looking forward to President Trump expelling every single Tren de Aragua gang member from America." He elaborated on their activities involving human trafficking and organized crime.
