Frisco Independent School District (Frisco ISD) is preparing for the 2025-26 school year with the opening of its registration window on April 1. The district invites both new and returning families to initiate the process early to assist in enrollment planning and ensure a smooth transition into the upcoming academic year.
Parents and guardians of current students are advised to look out for an email between April 1-7. This communication will contain a unique snapcode and detailed instructions for completing the PowerSchool Registration process online for each student. Parents are reminded that this procedure can only commence upon receipt of the email with the snapcode.
A mandatory aspect of the annual registration is the provision of proof of residency, with updated immunization records potentially required to finalize registration before the beginning of the school year. Students in middle and high school who adhere to the registration and residency guidelines by May 23 will have the benefit of viewing their schedules upon release.
Frisco ISD has provided further information on the registration process and a helpful FAQ section. Parents who do not receive the expected email by April 7 should reach out to their child's school for support. Those enrolling for the current year post-April 1 will receive their 2025-26 registration invitation subsequently.
The district also encourages parents of potential pre-kindergarten students to submit qualifying information, noting that eligibility requires the child to be four years old by September 1, 2025. Detailed criteria and registration information are available for interested families.
