Frisco Independent School District (ISD) is once again reaching out to its community for feedback, as it has done in previous years. This year, the district is seeking input on the past school year from parents, students, and staff through a survey available from March 24 to April 6.
The feedback collected will be used to guide district priorities and planning while identifying areas where stakeholder perspectives align or differ. To ensure confidentiality, Frisco ISD has partnered with K12 Insight, an independent research and communications firm, to administer the survey. The results will only include overall findings without individual identifiers.
Students will have the opportunity to complete their surveys during school hours according to a schedule that best suits each campus's needs. Parents and guardians can expect an email with a link to the optional survey on March 24, while staff members will receive directions via email on how to participate confidentially.
K12 Insight will compile all results, which will then inform campus leadership training sessions this spring focused on analysis and goal-setting for individual campuses. The public and the Board of Trustees will receive a summary of these findings at a regular meeting scheduled for this summer.
The practice of surveying stakeholders is not new for Frisco ISD. In fact, last year's survey covered topics such as academics, student support, and employee satisfaction. After a bond measure failed in November 2024, community feedback was presented during a Board of Trustees update in January regarding capital projects.
In fall 2023, the community provided input on various issues including the student opportunity model and early childhood programming as well as maintenance and operations across campuses.
