Frisco ISD volleyball teams advance to area playoff round

Frisco ISD volleyball teams are set to compete in the area round of the playoffs this week. In Class 5A, Wakeland, Lone Star, and Reedy will participate, while Panther Creek will represent Class 4A.

The University Interscholastic League now organizes volleyball playoffs into Division I and Division II across classifications from 2A to 6A. The Frisco ISD teams are distributed into three brackets:

- 5A Division I: Reedy

- 5A Division II: Lone Star, Wakeland

- 4A Division I: Panther Creek

The upcoming matches are scheduled as follows:

Reedy will face Melissa at McKinney Boyd High School on Friday, November 8th at 6 p.m. Tickets for this match can be purchased through McKinney ISD.

Panther Creek is set to play against Kennedale at Keller Central High School on Friday, November 8th at 6 p.m. Tickets are available via Keller ISD.

Lone Star will take on Lovejoy at Prosper Walnut Grove High School on Friday, November 8th at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be acquired through Prosper ISD.

Wakeland will compete against Walnut Grove at Allen High School on Friday, November 8th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are offered by Allen ISD.
