The Frisco Independent School District (ISD) has announced the football players who have been recognized with All-District honors by the coaches. The selections cover District 5-5A Division I and District 4-5A Division II, with the District 7-4 Division I team to be released after all teams in that district complete their season.
Key honorees include Karece Hoyt from Lone Star as MVP, Greg Ard from McKinney North as Offensive MVP, and Luca Akirtava from Reedy as Defensive MVP. Dorian Vaughn of Lebanon Trail was named Offensive Newcomer of the Year, while Bryant Robinson from Lone Star took Defensive Newcomer of the Year. Grayson Myer from Wakeland received Utility Player of the Year, and Jackson Voris from Frisco was named Special Teams Player of the Year. The Coaching Staff of the Year honor went to Lone Star.
Among first-team offense selections were quarterbacks Cobyn Harbert (Frisco), Jake Ferner (Reedy), and Jayden Maples (Wakeland). Running backs Isaiah Massey (Lone Star), Orlandis Nelson (McKinney North), and Triston Airy (Reedy) also made the list. Key defensive first-team members included defensive tackles Jomarye' Tucker (Frisco) and Austin Rodriguez (Lone Star).
The second-team selections highlighted several other talented athletes across various positions, including quarterbacks Adam Schmid (Centennial) and Joshua Greek (Heritage).
In a separate district announcement, Hayes Hackney from Walnut Grove was named District MVP. Jacob Janacek of Lovejoy earned Offensive MVP honors, while Agape Lawrence from Emerson was chosen as Defensive MVP.
First-team selections specific to FISD players included wide receivers Jayson Williams and McKenzie West among others.
