Judge Hill warns Congressional candidate Sanchez would be a 'grave danger to law enforcement officers'

In a recent social media post, Judge Chris Hill voiced his concerns regarding Lorenzo Sanchez, who is running for Congress, stating that Sanchez would be a "grave danger" to law enforcement. 

"Lorenzo Sanchez has voiced policy positions that would pose a grave danger to law enforcement officers and the citizens they protect... Lorenzo Sanchez is unfit to hold public office," Hill wrote on Facebook.

In a press release, Hill stated that during a video conference in June, Sanchez agreed that police officers should "be disarmed and forced to respond with nothing more than a flashlight and a walkie talkie." Hill also highlighted that in a June 6 Facebook post, Sanchez's campaign called police officers "a terrorist organization." The judge also highlighted that in September, Sanchez's campaign wrote "f*** the police," in a Facebook post.

Chris Hill was elected as the Collin County Judge in 2018. Before he held that office, he was the county commissioner for Precinct 3 in 2012 and 2016.

Hill Is a fourth-generation resident of Collin County. His great-great-grandfather was a  farmer in Collin County during the early 1900s.
