Changes are coming to monthly utility bills beginning Sunday, Oct. 1. Rates are going up for water, sewer and trash collection.
A 6% water and 3% wastewater (sewer) rate increase for residential customers is part of the 2023-24 City of Plano budget. The increase is a pass-through cost from the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD). A resident who uses 10,000 gallons of water, 5,000 gallons of wastewater and a 95-gallon cart will see about $8.50 more on their City of Plano bill. Residential Water Rates Water charges consist of two components – base rate and consumption. |
