Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.2% of them were boys, and 49.8% were girls.
Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 63.7% of the Blue Ridge ISD total enrollment.

Among the three schools in Blue Ridge ISD, Blue Ridge Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 456 students in the 2021-22 school year.
Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.
"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
