Frisco ISD has announced that 15 of its students have achieved the highest possible scores on either the SAT or ACT exams. The district is celebrating these students' exceptional academic accomplishments.
Annually, millions of students undertake the SAT and ACT exams, with less than 1% attaining top scores. The SAT comprises three main sections: math, evidence-based reading, and writing. Math scores range from 200 to 800, while evidence-based reading and writing are combined into one score within the same range. The total SAT score spans from 400 to 1600.
The ACT includes tests in English, mathematics, reading, and science, scored on a scale from 1 to 36. A student's composite score is the average of these four test scores, with a maximum composite score of 36 being possible.
Several of these high-achieving Frisco ISD students are also National Merit Semifinalists and participate in various fine arts activities such as visual art and music classes alongside AP and dual credit courses.

Additionally, all juniors at Frisco ISD are automatically registered to take the SAT free of charge during school hours on March 5, 2025.
