The McKinney Community Development Corporation (MCDC) has announced the awarding of project grants for 2024 to support quality-of-life initiatives in the community. MCDC board members reviewed funding requests and presentations from applicants detailing the potential impact of their proposed programs.

The awarded projects include:

- Chestnut Water Tank Preservation – City of McKinney Engineering Department

- East McKinney Learning Garden – McKinney Parks Foundation

- Infrastructure Improvements – LifePath Systems

- Affordable Housing Project Expenses – Sphinx

“These projects align directly with MCDC strategic priorities and our mission to work as a partner to fund community, cultural, and economic development projects in McKinney,” said MCDC Board Chair Angela Richardson-Woods. “Our vision to enhance the quality of life for all residents is evident in these awarded grants.”
