Rep. Keith Self, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 3rd district, has expressed his concerns over the United States' financial and international policies through a series of tweets. These statements reflect his stance on national debt and foreign policy matters.

On October 17, 2024, Rep. Self highlighted the alarming state of the national debt, stating "The US is nearing $36 TRILLION in debt - that comes out to over $100,000 in debt for EACH American citizen." He further criticized the monthly increase of $300 billion and urged citizens to remain vocal against a potential Christmas omnibus spending bill.

Later that day, Rep. Self commented on international affairs by acknowledging Israel's actions against Yayha Sinwar. He stated "Today, Israel brought October 7th mastermind Yayha Sinwar to justice." He also advised President Biden and Vice President Harris to allow Israel to complete its objectives without interference.

On October 21, 2024, Rep. Self reiterated his concerns about the national debt under the current administration by tweeting "We are nearing $36 TRILLION debt - that comes out to over $100,000 in debt for EACH American." He again criticized the Biden-Harris administration for contributing significantly to this financial situation and emphasized his opposition to a Christmas omnibus bill.
