Congressman Keith Self has announced the reopening of the Collin County Passport Office. This development follows collaboration with Collin County District Clerk Mike Gould and the U.S. Department of State, aiming to enhance access to passport services for residents in Texas’ Third Congressional District.

“The reopening of the Collin County Passport Office is a fantastic example of what can be accomplished for constituents with effective teamwork between local and federal officials,” said Congressman Keith Self. He emphasized that his staff worked closely with Mike Gould to address the increasing demand for passport services locally. "Passport assistance is one of the top requests my office receives, and having a local facility will streamline service and greatly benefit residents throughout the region," he added.

Mike Gould expressed similar sentiments about the collaborative effort, stating, “The opening of the passport acceptance facility is a huge win for the citizens of this area.” He acknowledged Congressman Self's role, noting that it required diligent work from both federal and local officials.

The public will have access to the reopened Collin County Passport Office starting November 4, 2024. Further details are available at www.collincountytx.gov/district-clerk/passports.
