Rep. Keith Self, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 3rd district since 2023, shared his views on recent political developments through a series of tweets. Known for his direct communication style, Rep. Self addressed issues concerning Democratic leadership, energy policies under former President Trump, and changes in educational governance.

On March 20, 2025, Rep. Self tweeted about what he described as a revealing moment for the Democratic Party: "This week was a mask-off moment for the flailing Democrats! @EdHenry and I tried to figure out how even The View couldn’t save Chuck Schumer from his palpable contempt for real Americans."

Later that day, he expressed support for Secretary Wright's stance on energy policy: "Spot-on @SecretaryWright. President Trump is ALL GAS, NO BREAKS when it comes to American energy!"

In another tweet posted on the same day, Rep. Self announced significant changes in education policy: "Groundbreaking news for every parent and student in America: Washington bureaucrats will no longer wield education authority and enact progressive social experiments on your children. Power over education is going back to YOUR state and to YOUR family! Thank you, President"
