Congressman Keith Self will host the 2024 Congressional Veterans Commendation Ceremony on November 11, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Collin College Conference Center in McKinney, Texas. The event will honor veterans from Texas’ Third Congressional District.
“Over the course of my 25 years of service in the U.S. Army, I stood alongside many of America’s finest, and I know firsthand the sense of duty and courage it takes to uphold the highest traditions of our military,” said Congressman Keith Self. “I look forward to honoring this year’s awardees from TX-03. Celebrating these men and women is a powerful tribute to their service and a reminder of their vital role in protecting the freedoms we cherish as Americans.”
The Congressional Veteran Commendation is a national program that acknowledges both military and community service by veterans who have served in various branches including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, and Coast Guard.
Residents are invited to join Congressman Self in recognizing this year's commendation recipients from Texas’ Third District on Veterans Day.
