Frisco Independent School District (FISD) has announced the 77 educators recognized as the 2024-25 Campus Teachers of the Year. These teachers are celebrated for their dedication and excellence within the district.
"Our Teachers of the Year embody the dedication, creativity and passion that make an extraordinary difference in students' lives every day," stated Christy Fiori, chief academic officer. "They are more than teachers — they are mentors, leaders and champions for every student who walks through their doors."
The selection process for Campus Teacher of the Year adheres to criteria set by the Texas Association of School Administrators. Each honoree is encouraged to apply for recognition as either FISD Elementary or Secondary Teacher of the Year. A committee comprising business and community leaders, along with representatives from Frisco Area Retired School Personnel, Frisco ISD Council of PTAs, and Frisco Education Foundation will review applications anonymously using a rubric to score responses.
The winners will be announced at a spring banquet and may apply for the Region 10 Teacher of the Year award.
