The Frisco Independent School District has announced the selection of its tennis players for the All-District teams in districts 11-5A and 12-5A. These selections were made by coaches from each district, recognizing outstanding performance in both singles and doubles categories.
Kritika Voruganti from Centennial High School was named Girls MVP, while Aadit Rishi from Lebanon Trail received the Boys MVP title. The award for Girls Newcomer of the Year went to Siyona Das of Independence High School, with Manav Perekh of Lebanon Trail taking home the Boys Newcomer of the Year honor. The Coaching Staff of the Year award was given to Douglas Fair and Carlos Aguilar from Centennial.
The first team for girls' doubles includes Noa Kosman and Akriti Bhati from Centennial, Shriya Aviur and Reema from Reedy, as well as Henley McCall and Shreya Suresh from Independence. For boys' doubles, Akshay Kommineni and Raj Sheth led the list from Centennial. In mixed doubles, Malishka Patnaik paired with Madhav Suresh represented Emerson.
For singles categories, Kritika Voruganti topped girls' singles representing Centennial while Gautam Panguluri secured first place in boys' singles playing for Emerson.
In another set of recognitions within these districts, Jose Guedez from The Colony was awarded Boys MVP and Mariella Davies from Wakeland earned Girls MVP honors. Wakeland dominated many positions in both girls' doubles and singles categories.
On the second team list, Addison Rosser paired with Maika Wendt represented Lebanon Trail in girls' doubles. Aaditt Rishi teamed up with Saharsh Parvathaneni for Lebanon Trail in boys' doubles. Mixed doubles saw Karl Hui joining Naila Sujaddeen representing Frisco.
This recognition highlights a strong representation across schools such as Independence, Centennial, Lebanon Trail, Wakeland, The Colony, Highland Park, Reedy, Lone Star among others within these districts.
