Rep. Keith Self, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 3rd district since 2023, has recently expressed his views on several political issues via social media posts. Self, who succeeded Van Taylor and resides in McKinney, was born in Philadelphia in 1953.
On December 3, 2024, Rep. Self questioned a headline regarding President Biden's legacy by stating: "Threatens to tarnish Biden’s legacy?? Is this a real headline? The Hunter pardon is just the cherry on top of the most corrupt and anti-American administration in modern history."
Later that day, he commented on the state of American media with a post declaring: " The Nov. 5th mandate marked the end of legacy media. The Fake News lost its grip on America."
Additionally, Self raised concerns about national security and media responsibility with another tweet asking: "Also, has the failing @NYTimes showed any concern for Joe Biden having the nuclear football right now?"
