McKinney's City Manager has put forward a budget proposal of $888 million for the Fiscal Year 2025. If approved, property owners would pay $0.415513 per $100 of assessed property value.

Residents and stakeholders are invited to review and comment on the proposed budget via McKinneyTexas.org/Budget before its final adoption on September 3rd. The fiscal year will run from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.

A public hearing is scheduled for September 3 at 6 p.m., taking place at City Hall, located at 222 N. Tennessee St.
