Collin County Elections Administrator Bruce Sherbet has announced his retirement, effective December 31, 2024. This marks the end of a 44-year career in elections administration. Sherbet has been with Collin County since 2015 and is recognized for his commitment to electoral integrity and leadership in Texas elections.

Reflecting on his career, Sherbet stated, “Serving the people of Collin County has been an incredible honor and privilege. Over the past nine years, I have been fortunate to work alongside a team of outstanding professionals and interact with countless engaged citizens. Together, we have navigated the growth of our county and ensured the integrity of our elections.”

Sherbet began his career in elections in 1980 as a Voter Registration Supervisor.
