Frisco Independent School District (FISD) has announced the expansion of its full-day prekindergarten program to include children of district employees. The program, which began in the 2020-21 school year, currently serves over 1,100 students across the Early Childhood School and 17 elementary campuses.

Employees can enroll their four-year-olds at any pre-K campus with available space. The cost is set at $655 per month for a duration of ten months. Applications opened on December 5, with classes starting in January. Additional information will be provided to interested employees.

This initiative is part of FISD's efforts to offer more benefits to its staff. Other perks include allowing employees' children to attend FISD schools, access to an employee clinic for acute care without charge, free virtual health visits around the clock, various paid and unpaid leave options, two wellness leave days for those working more than four hours daily, and matching voluntary retirement contributions.

FISD is also organizing a midyear job fair for all positions this week:

- When: Friday, December 6 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

- Where: Frisco ISD Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive, Frisco, TX 75035

For those unable to attend the job fair in person, information about open positions and online applications are available.
