The City of McKinney will conduct mosquito control spraying in two areas after a positive test for West Nile Virus in a mosquito pool. The spraying is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m., weather permitting, and will cover a one-mile radius around the identified locations.

Spraying is planned for Wednesday, August 14, at 6800 Bountiful Grove Drive and Thursday, August 15, at 3433 Beaver Creek Lane. To inform residents about the spraying activity, signs will be placed at major intersections. Additional information and a map of the spray area can be found on the city’s website: McKinneyTexas.org/MosquitoControl.

Residents within the spray zones are advised to stay indoors during the operation and bring pets inside. Those who prefer not to have their homes sprayed should contact City of McKinney Health Compliance at 972-547-7447.
