On January 20, 2025, Rep. Keith Self expressed optimism for the future of America with the statement: "Ready for the Golden Age of America to begin. Time to get back to work. It is an honor to serve with you. Thank you Mr. President."

This Day 1 action sends an unmistakable message: the gross weaponization of our government ends NOW under President Trump."
