Frisco ISD wrestlers achieved significant success at the 5A Region II Championships, with the Frisco girls and Centennial boys claiming team titles. The competition took place at Loos Field House in Addison.

The Frisco girls' team secured their victory with a total of 178.5 points, featuring three weight-class champions and a finalist. Meanwhile, the Centennial boys finished with 118 points, narrowly surpassing Wakeland's 113 points.

Six FISD boys' teams ranked in the top 20, while seven girls' teams also made it to the top 20. Notably, Lebanon Trail's girls secured third place on the medal stand. Overall, 23 FISD wrestlers from nine of the district’s twelve high schools were either champions or finalists in their respective weight classes.

The top four wrestlers from each weight class earned spots at the UIL State Wrestling Championships scheduled for February 14-15 at the Berry Center in Cypress, near Houston.
