Later that day, Rep. Self addressed financial concerns regarding the debt limit through an op-ed piece available online. He emphasized the need for Washington to address this issue to ensure the smooth operation of the financial system. “In order to keep our financial system operating smoothly, it is time for Washington to address the question of the debt limit.”
