On April 15, 2025, Rep. Keith Self praised President Trump's immigration policies, attributing significant migrant deportations to these efforts. In his post, Self stated, "President Trump has deported over 100,000 illegal migrants since January 20th. Thank God we have a president who puts the safety of its citizens FIRST!”
Later that day, Self shared a personal accolade, announcing his reception of FRC Action’s One Hundred Percent Award for upholding certain social values in his congressional voting record. He expressed gratitude towards prominent figures in the organization: "I’m honored to receive @FRCAction’s One Hundred Percent Award for my pro-faith, pro-family, and pro-freedom voting record in Congress. And a special thank you to @tperkins and @JodyHiceFRCA for amplifying the importance of family values in America every day!”
The next day, on April 16, 2025, he briefly acknowledged a statement by another political figure, Marco Rubio, simply stating, "Well said, @SecRubio."
Keith Self has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Texas’s 3rd District, since 2023. He succeeded Van Taylor.
